Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a DMC Operations Manager, based in Jaipur. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day management of destination services, ensuring seamless coordination among hotels, transportation, guides, and tourism activities. Tasks involve planning and managing itineraries, negotiating with vendors, handling client inquiries, and supervising a team of travel consultants. The role also requires addressing client needs promptly to deliver exceptional travel experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management within the travel industry, especially in destination management or hospitality
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in creating and managing custom travel itineraries
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills to effectively manage consultants and operators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and client relationship management
- Knowledge of Rajasthan and Indian travel markets and cultural attractions
- Proficiency in business tools and travel management software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Multilingual skills or experience working with international clients will be an added advantage
