Role Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, SAP Business One (SAP B1) ERP, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives by ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across the organization and its group companies. He will work closely with internal users, technology partners, vendors, consultants, and service providers to deliver scalable IT solutions, strengthen information security, optimize business processes, and ensure business continuity while driving innovation, operational excellence, and technology-enabled growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and business continuity of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud services, storage, endpoints, and communication systems.
- Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, internet connectivity, Microsoft 365, backup, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure maintenance to minimize downtime.
B. SAP Business One (SAP B1) Management
- Manage day-to-day SAP Business One operations, ensuring system availability, performance, security, and user support.
- Lead SAP enhancements, customizations, reports, dashboards, integrations, and new module implementations based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with SAP partners and internal stakeholders for requirement gathering, BRD preparation, testing, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Ensure SAP master data integrity, user authorization, approval workflows, documentation, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor SAP system performance, licensing, upgrades, and user training to maximize ERP utilization and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous SAP process optimization and automation to improve productivity and support business growth.
C. Enterprise Applications & Digital Transformation
- Plan, implement, and support enterprise applications including HRMS, CRM, mobile applications, document management systems, and other digital initiatives.
D. IT Support & Service Management
- Provide centralized IT and SAP support to all departments and group companies while ensuring timely resolution of incidents and adherence to service levels.
E. Cybersecurity & IT Governance
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, firewall security, data protection, IT policies, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements.
F. Vendor, Asset & Financial Management
- Manage IT procurement, vendors, software licensing, annual maintenance contracts, IT assets and technology lifecycle management.
- Prepare IT budgets, evaluate new technologies, optimize IT investments, and ensure cost-effective utilization of IT resources.
G. Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and continuous improvement programs aligned with business objectives.
- Develop IT policies, SOPs, MIS reports, KPIs, team capabilities, and technology roadmaps while coordinating with management, auditors, and external partners.
- Team Handling: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team by allocating responsibilities, monitoring performance, developing technical competencies, fostering collaboration, and ensuring timely delivery of IT projects and support services in line with organizational objectives.
Role Requirement
- B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent. or
- MCA / M.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) / BCA / B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) from a recognized university.
- MBA (Information Systems/IT) or relevant professional certifications (SAP Business One, Microsoft, Cisco, Cybersecurity, ITIL, PMP, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure, SAP ERP, Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in leading IT teams and managing enterprise-wide IT projects.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or project-based organization shall be preferred.
