About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson as an DLP ENGINEER, a pivotal role fundamental to safeguarding our information assets across the IT environment. This position involves providing IT security operations, expertise, support and solutions, grounded on the IT Security Requirement. The successful candidate will enable compliance, adhering to applicable internal / external requirements, laws, regulations, and standards.
Monitoring & Incident Handling
- Monitor DLP alerts and incidents across all integrated systems
- Perform initial triage and severity classification
- Investigate policy-triggered incidents
- Escalate high-risk incidents to DLP Analysts
- Track false positives and recurring alert patterns
User Support & Issue Resolution
- Handle user-reported issues related to DLP policies
- Support business users impacted by DLP blocks/quarantines
- Validate and troubleshoot policy enforcement behavior
- Coordinate with endpoint, email, cloud, and network teams during issue resolution
Operational Administration
- Maintain DLP consoles and operational health checks
- Validate connectors, agents, and integrations
- Execute approved policy deployments and updates
- Perform routine maintenance and monitoring activities
Reporting & Metrics
- Generate operational dashboards and compliance reports
- Track:
- Alert volumes
- Incident trends
- False positives
- Resolution SLAs
- Policy hit rates
- Provide weekly/monthly operational summaries
Documentation
- Maintain SOPs and operational runbooks
- Document incident handling procedures
- Update knowledge base articles
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in DLP tools administration primarily Microsoft Purview DLP. Overall, 3 or more years of working experience
- Incident handling experience in case management tooling like BMC SMART SMP
- Basic scripting/automation knowledge using regular expressions
- Understanding of data classifications
- Basic troubleshooting skills on Microsoft DLP policies issues Microsoft Purview DLP
- Strong communication skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, managing multiple tasks.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
