About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Django Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development skills, write clean and maintainable code, understand software architecture, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
This role requires a developer with excellent problem-solving abilities, sound knowledge of Python and Django, and experience building secure, high-performance REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Design database schemas and optimize complex SQL queries for performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, and external systems.
- Build secure applications following OWASP security best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in system architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
- Write reusable, modular, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficient fixes.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Write unit tests and support integration testing to ensure code quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
