What you will do
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused IT Manager to lead and oversee a multidisciplinary IT team. The IT Manager will be responsible for team leadership and serving as a bridge between the team and upper management.
Supervisory Responsibility
-
- Lead a team of IT professionals with varied technical skill sets (e.g., infrastructure, applications, development, support).
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. The team is also reporting to the offshore functional lead for their functional responsibility.
- Creating a positive and supportive work atmosphere, empowering and motivating team members, and encouraging collaboration and bonding.
- Facilitating clear and open communication within the team and serving as a bridge between the team and upper management.
- Involve in staffing plans, coordinate hiring and onboarding.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure team adherence to internal policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support audit and risk management activities as needed.
What you will need
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant Experience
- Proven at least 5 year experiences in IT team management or similar leadership roles.
- Experience in international companies with global collaboration models Experience in ramp up of larger teams Strong understanding of IT organizational structures and workflows.
- Ability to lead without direct technical involvement. Experience managing remote or hybrid teams.
- Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments is a plus.
- Strong technical background with expertise in systems, networks, software development, or other IT domains will be an added advantage.
