Role Purpose
As Government Sales Manager, you will lead Janitri’s engagement with government health departments, public hospitals, and institutional procurement bodies. This role is critical in driving adoption of Janitri’s maternal and newborn healthcare solutions across public health systems, ensuring impact at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Government Partnerships
Build and manage relationships with government health departments, public hospitals, and procurement agencies.
Tender & Procurement Management
Identify, track, and participate in government tenders and procurement cycles for medical devices and healthtech solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and adoption targets within government channels.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with doctors, administrators, procurement officials, and policymakers to promote Janitri’s solutions.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and government initiatives to provide insights for go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Healthcare, or related field.
- MBA/Postgraduate Diploma in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in government or institutional sales within medical devices, diagnostics, or healthtech.
- Strong understanding of public health procurement processes and government healthcare ecosystem.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of government tendering and procurement systems.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic processes with persistence and professionalism.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership-driven execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
