Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Kolkata Area for a District Sales Manager. The individual will oversee and manage a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring team performance, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring effective execution of marketing activities. The role involves territory planning, reporting, and collaboration with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales and Team Management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Proficiency in Sales Strategy Development and Territory Planning
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of marketing and promotional techniques in the pharmaceutical sector
- Analytical skills to assess team performance and market trends
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software is an advantage
