About the role:
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for leading, managing, and developing a group of retail stores within an assigned geographic region. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the stores meet sales and operational goals, maintaining company standards for customer service, and ensuring the profitability and productivity of each store. The District Manager will manage store managers, supervise their performance, and implement policies and programs to improve store operations.

- Sales & Profitability: Drive sales and profitability; analyze sales data; implement strategies to meet goals and budgets.
- Operations & Store Standards: Ensure efficient store operations; maintain inventory, merchandising, and compliance standards.
- Customer Experience: Promote a customer-first approach; address concerns; enhance shopping experience.
- Financial Management: Control operating expenses; review budgets; monitor financial metrics.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Develop growth strategies; prepare performance reports; assist in recruitment and onboarding.
- Marketing & Promotions: Execute local promotions; communicate company initiatives; provide feedback on marketing activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years in retail management, with 2-3 years in a district/area manager role; multi-unit management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Knowledge of retail best practices, inventory control, and loss prevention strategies.
- comfortable in Frequent travel between store locations within the assigned district.
