From our government partnerships, we have reached 2 million learners this last year, partnering with 65,000+ schools across various states. Our goal is to expand our scale to reach over five million learners in five years.
The Schools Team works in a lean and collaborative way with our partners, developing strong implementation plans and providing support at every step of the way. Specifically, the team supports teachers and administrators through training and resources, and enabling peer-to-peer sharing. We learn and constantly iterate by gathering feedback and through data-backed insights and efficacy studies.
About The Role
The program is looking for motivated individuals to join our Telangana Team as
District Coordinators to support implementation of the programme in government schools across different districts in Telangana. In this role, you will work closely with school management and teachers to ensure effective adoption and usage of the program. You will report to the Senior Program Lead and play a key role in on-ground execution and support.
Please note that this role will be serving one district mentioned as base location, and additionally will serve 1-2 nearby districts as well. More details can be shared in the introduction call.
Requirements
Your primary responsibilities will include:2. Collaborate closely with district stakeholders3. Promote strong on-ground execution through regular school visits4. Collect insights and enable data-informed decision-making5. Handle documentation and coordination6. Support overall programme operations
- Assist in executing the programme at the district level
- Facilitate the rollout and implementation of the programme in all designated schools within the district
- Help organize and conduct teacher training sessions and orientations, both online and offline
- Follow up regularly with schools to ensure consistent and effective use of the platform
- Monitor progress towards set objectives and highlight any gaps in implementation
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with District Education Officers (DEOs), Principals, and teachers
- Serve as a key liaison for coordination at the school level
- Support school management teams in planning, reviewing, and enhancing programme delivery
- Conduct weekly visits to all assigned schools to ensure high-quality and consistent programme implementation; travel expenses will be reimbursed
- Observe classroom activities and assist teachers in integrating Khan Academy effectively into their daily lessons
- Detect gaps in adoption, usage, or comprehension and implement timely corrective measures
- Build robust relationships with school leaders and teachers to foster ownership and accountability
- Ensure consistent adherence to agreed implementation protocols across all schools
- Gather and monitor platform usage data and feedback from schools on a regular basis
- Provide structured updates and key insights to the central team
- Identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities to enhance programme effectiveness
- Maintain organized records of trainings, school visits, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all critical activities
- Coordinate with internal teams to support programme requirements and resolve challenges on the ground
- Assist with additional tasks necessary for successful implementation at the school level
- Contribute to process improvements based on insights and feedback gathered from the field
About You
You would be an excellent match for this role if you:
- Have 2-4 years of relevant professional experience. Experience as an educator or working with government schools in Telangana is a plus
- Are proficient in Telugu and English (reading, speaking, and writing)
- Possess a strong collaborative mindset and the ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders such as district officials, school leaders, and teachers
- Can effectively navigate on-the-ground implementation challenges and make informed decisions aligned with programme objectives
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks across several schools simultaneously
- Excel at documenting information from various sources and presenting it in an easily understandable format
- Are comfortable working with data, including tracking usage, identifying trends, and deriving insights to enhance implementation; also adept at using qualitative feedback to guide actions
- Are a strong communicator who can engage effectively with teachers and government stakeholders, communicating clearly across different formats
- Learn quickly, immersing yourself in new environments and swiftly adapting
- Exhibit an ownership mindset and a proactive approach, motivated to solve challenges on the ground
- Are willing to roll up your sleeves and support the team's efforts as we grow
- Have a passion for education and a strong commitment to improving student learning outcomes
- Are comfortable being based in Telangana with the willingness to travel extensively for weekly visits to all assigned schools
