research institutions. We work closely with farmers, FPOs, and agribusiness ecosystems to
enable sustainable and scalable agricultural transformation.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven District Coordinator to lead on-ground sales and farmer
engagement within a district. This is a field-intensive role focused on working closely with
Farmers, Dealers, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), and agri-ecosystem partners
to drive adoption of Jiva Water’s irrigation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage relationships with:
o Farmers
o Dealers and distributors
o FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations)
o Contract farming companies
o Greenhouse farmers and exporters
• Generate leads through:
o Farmer meetings and village-level interactions
o FPO engagement programs
o Field visits and demonstrations
• Plan and execute:
o Farmer awareness programs
o FPO meetings and cluster-level discussions
o Product demonstrations and trial plots
• Convert trial plots into large-scale sales across farmer groups and FPO networks
• Drive regular follow-ups and ensure high conversion rates
• Increase brand visibility across the district through strong on-ground presence
• Gather market insights, farmer feedback, and competitor intelligence
What You’ll Do (Mandate)
• Visit farmers, dealers, and FPOs regularly
• Conduct farmer meetings and FPO engagement sessions
• Identify cluster-based opportunities through FPOs
• Ensure successful execution and tracking of trial plots
• Scale adoption across farmer networks and FPO ecosystems
Who Can Apply
• 3–4 years of experience in agri sales/marketing:
o Drip irrigation (preferred)
o Pump sales
o Agri-inputs or farm tech
• Strong network with farmers and FPOs in the local district
• Proven experience in conducting farmer meetings and group mobilization
• Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and travel
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and proactive
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership
• Languages known: Must be able to speak Tamil and English.
