Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Distributor Sales Specialist role based in Gorakhpur. The Distributor Sales Specialist will manage and grow relationships with regional distributors, dealers, and channel partners, ensuring consistent sales performance and brand visibility. Daily responsibilities include identifying new distribution opportunities, conducting regular market visits, reviewing stock and sales performance, and supporting partners with product knowledge and pricing information. The role involves coordinating with internal teams on order processing, logistics, and credit management, as well as tracking sales targets, preparing sales reports, and providing market feedback. The Specialist will also handle customer and distributor escalations, ensure high service standards, and participate in local promotional activities, trainings, and events to drive sales of Premier Energies’ solar products.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with experience in distributor or channel sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Proven Customer Service and Account Management abilities to build, maintain, and grow long-term distributor and dealer relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present products, negotiate terms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in territory planning, market mapping, and achieving or exceeding sales targets in a field-based role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; relevant sales certifications are an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Excel, and basic sales reporting and forecasting methods.
- Ability to work independently in the field, with frequent travel within the assigned region.
- Knowledge of the solar or broader energy market and local distribution networks in and around Varanasi is highly beneficial.
