Job Summary
Responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributors and retailers, expanding market coverage, ensuring product visibility, and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Execution
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly primary & secondary sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits and outlet coverage as per beat plan.
- Increase product availability and visibility in retail outlets.
- Generate orders from retailers and distributors.
- Ensure proper merchandising and display of products.
Distributor Management
- Coordinate with distributors for stock availability and order execution.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and secondary sales.
- Support distributors in achieving business targets.
- Ensure timely collection and payment follow-up.
Retailer Relationship
- Build strong relationships with retailers and dealers.
- Resolve retailer complaints and market issues promptly.
- Identify and add new retail outlets in the territory.
Market Development
- Expand market reach and increase outlet penetration.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes.
- Share market feedback with management.
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and market reports.
- Maintain records of orders, collections, and outlet coverage.
- Use sales apps/CRM tools for reporting and tracking activities.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Field sales and market handling experience
- Distributor and retailer management
- Target-oriented mindset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
Qualification
- Any Graduate / 12th Pass.
- Experience in FMCG, garments, apparel, or retail sales preferred
Additional Requirements
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license
- Willingness to travel extensively in market areas
- Local market knowledge preferred
