Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at Distribusion, you will lead a highly skilled team of software engineers, driving the development and delivery of our core platform and products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring the team's productivity and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and mentor a talented team of software engineers, fostering their professional growth and development - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and other Engineering groups, to align on strategic priorities and execute on key initiatives - Establish and maintain engineering best practices, processes, and tooling to enhance team efficiency and product quality - Promote a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on iterative development, testing, and deployment - Work closely with senior leadership to provide technical guidance, identify opportunities, and drive innovation - Represent the Engineering team and communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to key stakeholders Required Skills and Experience: - Significant experience (5+ years) in managing and leading software engineering teams - Strong technical background and hands-on experience with software development, ideally in a distributed, cloud-based environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams - Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and solutions - Demonstrated skills in technical roadmap planning, resource allocation, and team performance management - Experience in building and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive engineering culture - Passion for technology and a drive to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
