Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role based in Gurgaon. The Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently coordinating transportation schedules, assigning drivers and equipment, managing communication between drivers and customers, and monitoring real-time operations to ensure timely delivery. The role also involves resolving logistical challenges, maintaining transportation records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and organizational abilities, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and teams
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology for efficient operational management
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address logistical challenges promptly
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in dispatch or logistics roles is highly advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation are a plus
