Role Description The Dispatcher role at Profiroll India is a full-time, on-site position located in the Pune Division. The dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and finished products within the facility, scheduling dispatches to customers, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing dispatch documents, updating tracking systems, communicating with production, warehouse, and transport partners, and resolving scheduling or delivery issues. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, monitoring inventory levels related to dispatch, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety guidelines. The dispatcher collaborates closely with internal teams to support efficient manufacturing and on-time customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple dispatch schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email, dispatch or inventory software) and comfort working with digital records and tracking systems.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with production teams, warehouse staff, transport providers, and customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, including preparing invoices, dispatch notes, and shipment records.
- Understanding of basic logistics, inventory control, and manufacturing workflows; prior experience in a factory or warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced industrial setting, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
- Problem-solving mindset to handle delays, routing changes, and other dispatch-related issues calmly and efficiently.
- Relevant education such as a high school diploma; vocational training or experience in logistics, supply chain, or dispatch operations is preferred.
