Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role located in Jalandhar. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the transport of goods, assigning delivery routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. Additional tasks include monitoring driver performance, maintaining communication between drivers and management, and resolving operational issues promptly to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with logistics management and route planning tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle scheduling and delivery challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with drivers and clients effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry preferred
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in transportation
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
