Role Description The Dispatch Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Vindhya Telelinks facility in Rewa. This role oversees daily dispatch operations, ensuring that telecommunication cables and related products are scheduled, loaded, and delivered safely and on time. Responsibilities include planning and assigning dispatch tasks, coordinating with production, warehouse, and logistics teams, and monitoring shipment status throughout the day. The Dispatch Supervisor will maintain accurate records of dispatch documents, ensure compliance with applicable transportation and safety regulations, and address any delays or issues that arise. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and customers, resolving service concerns, and contributing to continuous improvement of dispatch processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Dispatching experience, including route planning, load scheduling, and coordinating outbound shipments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with drivers, internal departments, and external customers.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of DOT Regulations or equivalent transport and safety standards relevant to dispatch operations.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in manufacturing or logistics, familiarity with ERP or dispatch management systems, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred educational background includes a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in dispatch supervision.
