Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatch Supervisor, located in Dharwad. The Dispatch Supervisor will oversee daily dispatch operations, ensure compliance with transportation regulations, coordinate with drivers and vendors, monitor delivery schedules, and manage logistical concerns. Additionally, this role entails maintaining communication with customers, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high standards of service efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team management and task delegation
- Proficiency in Dispatching and understanding of DOT Regulations
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure timely operations
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management is an asset
- Proficiency in relevant software or technology related to dispatching
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred
