Back End Developer

About the Role

We are on the lookout for a Back End Engineer with 1-4 years of experience in backend development.

Requirements and Skills:

• 1-4 years of experience in backend development using Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (designing schemas, writing efficient queries, optimizing performance).
• Experience with Redis for caching, queuing, and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with WebSockets or similar technologies for real-time communication.
• Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, etc.).
• Understanding of how to design and maintain scalable systems (knowledge of distributed systems and microservices is a plus).
• Familiarity with background task management systems (e.g., Bull.js, Redis Queues, etc.).
• Good understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with GeoSpatial queries using Redis or Postgres.
• Knowledge of queueing systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS for event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Exposure to frontend technologies or mobile app development (React, Flutter, etc.) is a plus.
