Role Description The Dispatch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Srikalahasti, responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations. This role includes planning and scheduling shipments, coordinating with warehouse and transport teams, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods. The Dispatch Manager monitors inventory and dispatch records, resolves delivery issues, and maintains clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders. The role also involves supervising dispatch staff, enforcing safety and compliance standards, optimizing routes and resources, and preparing regular operational reports.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience managing dispatch or logistics teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Dispatching skills, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to optimize processes, manage resources, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or machinery dispatch operations is preferred.
- Ability to use dispatch or ERP software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools is beneficial.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, business, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
