Role OverviewAs a Dispatch Manager at Absolute Composites, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing dispatch operations for aerospace tools, components, and assemblies. This role is critical to ensuring on‑time, compliant, and damage‑free delivery of high‑value aerospace products to customers and program stakeholders.
The role demands strong logistics expertise, documentation accuracy, coordination skills, and deep understanding of aerospace quality and traceability requirements. You will act as the key interface between manufacturing, quality, stores, logistics partners, and customers to ensure seamless dispatch execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesDispatch Planning & Execution• Plan and execute dispatch activities in line with production schedules and customer delivery commitments
• Ensure timely dispatch of aerospace tools, components, and assemblies
• Coordinate packaging, labeling, and shipping for domestic and international deliveries
• Manage multiple dispatch priorities across concurrent aerospace programs
Documentation & Compliance• Prepare and verify dispatch documentation including Invoice, Delivery Challan, Packing List, CofC, FAI records, and E‑way bills
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer contractual requirements, and statutory regulations
• Maintain full product traceability, batch records, and shipping documentation
• Support customer audits and regulatory inspections related to dispatch and logistics
Quality & Packaging Control• Ensure proper aerospace‑grade packaging, preservation, and handling of components
• Coordinate with Quality for final inspection and release prior to dispatch
• Prevent transit damage through appropriate packing methods, fixtures, and protection
• Address dispatch‑related NCRs, customer feedback, and corrective actions
Logistics & Vendor Coordination• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, courier agencies, and customs agents
• Track shipments, ensure on‑time delivery, and proactively manage delays or issues
• Optimize transportation modes for cost, schedule, and risk
• Support export dispatches including customs documentation where applicable
Inventory & Stores Coordination• Work closely with Stores and Planning teams to ensure accurate material movement
• Update ERP / dispatch registers and maintain dispatch logs
• Ensure FIFO, serialization, and part identification requirements are followed
• Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation related to dispatched items
Reporting & Process Improvement• Prepare dispatch status reports, OTIF metrics, and delivery performance dashboards
• Escalate critical risks related to delivery schedules or customer commitments
• Drive continuous improvement in dispatch processes, documentation accuracy, and turnaround time
Team Leadership• Lead and guide dispatch and logistics personnel
• Ensure training and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Promote safety, discipline, and accountability in dispatch operations

Preferred Skills• Proven experience in aerospace / precision manufacturing dispatch operations
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 requirements, traceability, and documentation control
• Experience handling high‑value, precision aerospace components and tooling
• Familiarity with ERP systems, dispatch tracking, and logistics workflows
• Strong coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
