What We’re Looking for?
● Have 2-5 years of experience with routing and dispatching in Onfleet or a comparable software.
● Minimum 2 years of prior experience in E-commerce Operations in a product-based company; start-up experience preferred.
● Possess an analytical, rules-based mindset.
● Be a flawless written and verbal communicator.
● Should be comfortable working in night shifts IST and rotational week-offs.
● Be fluent in English and have a strong mastery of proper grammar.
● Be comfortable with speaking on the phone daily with other team members.
● Have a high typing speed (60+ WPM) as excessive chat communication will be required.
● Be extremely comfortable and proficient in working with computers. You should be confident in your abilities to multitask with several software applications simultaneously.
● Be a quick learner who easily grasps new concepts and technical instructions. Should have expertise in understanding Google Maps.
● Be a self-motivated individual who can think outside the box and be willing to do a variety of tasks to help this company succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing?
● Manage shopper and driver shift schedules and modify them frequently in response to fluctuating delivery volume.
● Plan and optimize routes for drivers to ensure timely delivery or pickups while considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and customer locations.
● Track the progress of drivers and shoppers, monitoring their locations, status updates, and responding to any deviations from planned schedules or emergencies.
● Monitor and update our delivery capacity for future delivery windows to maintain alignment with available resources.
● Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including log sheets, incident reports, and operational data. Generating reports on performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates or response times.
● Act as a central point of contact, receiving and prioritizing incoming calls, messages, and requests from customers, drivers, or field personnel.
● Work closely with our customer support team to ensure that any customer issues involving our shoppers and drivers are swiftly resolved.
● Coordinate responses to emergency situations, accidents, breakdowns, or other unexpected events by dispatching appropriate personnel or resources and notifying stakeholders as necessary.
● Appropriately escalate unresolved issues to the management team, displaying sound judgment of when an issue requires more resources to fix.
● Operate multiple software applications simultaneously. Utilizing dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and communication tools effectively to streamline operations and improve communication between dispatchers, drivers, and customers.
● Provide training to new dispatchers on procedures, routes, software use, and equipment operation. Continuously updating knowledge of industry best practices and technologies.
● Collaborate with other departments such as product, engineering, and customer service, to streamline operations, resolve issues, and improve overall efficiency.
