The Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. They will translate these requirements into functional specifications for technology teams and work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery. |
Essential Functions: - Works with business and end-user to elicit project scope and business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories
- Participates in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements and make recommendations
- Reviews technical specification documents; provides design input for the definition of moderate to complex design specifications as necessary
- Works with the Project Manager to ensure goals and objectives of project are accomplished within established timeline and budget
- Propose, design and assists developing application or technology demos or prototypes based on research findings to trial and prove technology applicability within the business or technology environments
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions
- Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, technologies, and solutions
- Responds to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned by management

Essential Skills and Experience: - Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or other relevant field, or at least an equivalent combination of experience and education
- At least 2+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience and understanding of project management methodologies
- Ability to work directly with the business and end-users to support, identify, troubleshoot and resolve applications issues including root cause analysis
- Excellent technical analytical and problem solving skills
