Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Abroad for a Director - Vendor Development & Global Procurement. The role involves managing vendor relationships, creating and executing procurement strategies, and streamlining processes to achieve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency. The Director will oversee vendor negotiations, assess market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Planning and Analytical Skills, including the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional Communication skills for building and maintaining vendor relations and internal collaboration
- Proven experience in Sales, with a focus on driving revenue through strategic vendor partnerships
- Proficiency in Training and mentoring team members to build internal capabilities
- Strategic thinking and leadership abilities to oversee and guide procurement decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with global procurement practices and market dynamics
