Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for recycled textile fibers, yarns, and textile products across domestic and international markets.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities with textile manufacturers, brands, exporters, and sourcing partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the textile value chain. ● Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements with customers.
Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and opportunities within the textile and recycled materials sector.
- Establish strategic partnerships with textile mills, garment manufacturers, brands, and sustainability-focused organizations.
- Expand the company's presence in key textile hubs and international markets.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the textile sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to maximize results.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and business growth. ● Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and product development teams.
Commercial Strategy & Sustainability
- Develop go-to-market strategies for recycled fibers and yarn products.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Promote sustainable textile solutions and educate customers on the value of recycled materials.
- Support the organization's sustainability goals through responsible business practices.
Operational capability
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Textile Engineering / Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in textile sales, fiber sales, yarn sales, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale B2B sales operations and strategic accounts.
- Experience working with textile manufacturers, mills, brands, and sourcing organizations.
- Exposure to recycled textiles, sustainable materials, or circular economy businesses is highly preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of textile fibers, yarns, fabrics, and textile manufacturing processes.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
