About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned
CPaaS Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive innovation within our CPaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, delivering scalable solutions, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities - Team Leadership:
- Oversee and manage a team of talented engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
- Mentor and develop engineers to enhance their technical skills and career growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Product Development:
- Define and execute the engineering strategy for our CPaaS platform, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Have a deep understanding of CPaaS technologies and architectures, including SMS, voice, WhatsApp,RCS and other communication channels.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving complex technical challenges as needed.
- Infrastructure and Operations:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CPaaS infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate and streamline operational processes.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Quality and Testing:
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop comprehensive test plans and execute test cases.
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality through metrics-driven analysis and remediation.
Qualifications
- Around 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering successful projects.
- Deep understanding of CPaaS technologies, architectures, and protocols.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as Kubernetes, Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for innovation and a drive to deliver exceptional results.
