Job Description:
The Director – Talent Management role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the organization’s talent strategy across performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement. This role ensures robust competency frameworks; effective career progression structures and a strong talent pipeline aligned with business requirements. .
Working closely with all functions to create and implement an organization wide Talent Management Program.
Key Responsibilities
Role and competency architecture
- Create, standardize and maintain updated Job Descriptions (JDs) and Role-Grade Matrix across the organization.
- Design and implement a comprehensive competency framework aligned to organizational requirements.
Performance management
- Take complete ownership to drive the end-to-end performance management process, including level wise goal setting, performance check-ins, annual reviews, rating calibration (in collaboration with HRBPs).
- Ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency in performance assessments.
- Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in performance frameworks.
Career planning and internal mobility
- Conduct competency-based talent assessments.
- Design and implement development plans for identified HiPos.
- Create succession plans for critical roles; design and execute development plans for identified successors.
- Design and maintain career pathing frameworks to facilitate vertical and lateral movements across functions and levels.
- Ensure a strong talent pipeline aligned to business requirements.
Employee Engagement
- Own the design and administration of Employee Engagement Survey.
- Analyze survey data to derive actionable insights.
- Partner with Leadership and HRBPs to drive action plans.
Educational Qualification: MBA/master’s degree in HR from a reputed institute.
Work Experience:
- Must have minimum 15 years’ overall experience in HR with at least 5 years in HR Business Partnering, Performance Management or Organizational Development roles.
- Prior experience in designing competency frameworks and career architectures would be a strong plus point.

- Ability to understand business dynamics, think and plan strategically.
- Ability to engage, influence, and manage senior-level stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse and covert complex data into unambiguous actionable insights.
- Ability to manage Org-wide change initiatives and ensure clear, consistent communication.
