Exploring the Role
The Director – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for attracting and hiring leadership and niche talent for RateGain globally. The role will develop innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies, stay abreast of evolving talent-market trends, and optimize hiring processes to deliver high-quality talent within defined timelines. The incumbent will also lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team while driving strategic TA, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
How Your Day Will Look / Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end leadership and niche hiring across functions and geographies.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage senior-level and passive talent.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ experience, leadership potential, competencies, and cultural alignment.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future leadership requirements.
- Leverage LinkedIn, industry events, executive networks, referrals, and other sourcing channels to attract high-quality candidates.
- Partner closely with senior business leaders to understand talent requirements and provide market insights and hiring recommendations.
- Manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands while ensuring timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effectively navigate international recruitment practices across geographies.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring clear accountability, capability building, consistent execution, and achievement of hiring goals.
- Drive strategic TA projects, process-improvement initiatives, employer-branding programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Education & Work Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least four years of experience managing leadership and executive hiring.
- Prior experience in managing, coaching, and developing a Talent Acquisition team.
- Experience hiring for SaaS, technology, or product-led organizations.
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of global talent acquisition practices, market trends, and relevant employment regulations.
- Knowledge of leadership, niche, and critical-skill talent markets.
- Understanding of executive assessment, stakeholder management, and talent-pipelining practices.
- Awareness of effective communication and engagement strategies for diverse talent pools.
Skills
- Proven ability to identify, engage, and attract senior-level and executive talent, including passive candidates.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies tailored to leadership and niche roles.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with senior executives, industry leaders, and influencers.
- Ability to assess leadership capability, functional expertise, motivation, and cultural alignment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to advise senior business leaders.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruitment analytics, and executive-search platforms.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
