Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana for a Director - Student Welfare & Engagement. The candidate will oversee all student welfare programs, design engagement initiatives, and foster an inclusive and supportive campus environment. Responsibilities include managing student counseling services, organizing co-curricular and cultural events, addressing student grievances, and promoting the overall well-being of the student body. The Director will also serve as a vital link between the university administration and student community.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Experience in student counseling, conflict resolution, and engagement activities
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and executing cultural and co-curricular programs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities
- Strong awareness of student welfare policies, ethical practices, and inclusivity
- Master’s or higher degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in student management roles within a higher education institution
- Familiarity with managing student grievance systems and promoting diversity is an asset
