Role Description The Director / Senior Manager SFA Valuation will lead and manage valuation engagements, with a primary focus on structured finance and complex financial assets. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves overseeing project scoping, methodology selection, and execution, while ensuring compliance with relevant valuation standards and regulatory requirements. The role includes reviewing financial models, conducting detailed business and asset analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and presenting clear, well-supported valuation reports to clients and internal stakeholders. The individual will guide and mentor team members, contribute to developing internal best practices, and participate in business development activities such as proposal preparation, client meetings, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in valuation of structured finance assets, complex securities, and business/equity interests, including financial modeling and cash flow analysis.
- Solid grounding in corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis, with the ability to interpret and apply valuation standards and regulations.
- Experience in leading client engagements, managing multiple projects, and delivering high-quality valuation reports within defined timelines.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to explain complex valuation concepts clearly.
- Proven capability in team leadership, mentoring, and performance management in a professional services or advisory environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent; specialized training or certifications in valuation are an advantage.
- Prior experience in valuation advisory, investment banking, consulting, or related financial services domains, especially in SFA or complex instruments.
- High level of integrity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to objectivity and quality in client assignments.
