About the Role


Responsible for strategic purchasing leadership for the IMEA region, including supplier development, sustainable sourcing, farming program development, commodity risk management, and alignment with global category strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Lead regional purchasing strategy development aligned with global frameworks.
  • Oversee sourcing programs for spices, herbs, packaging, and indirect materials.
  • Develop and scale farming programs that improve quality and strengthen community impact.
  • Lead SRM processes including scorecards, audits, and capability development.
  • Manage contracts, negotiations, market risk, and long-term agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, Finance, Sustainability, and Manufacturing.
  • Drive sustainable sourcing initiatives ensuring ethical, traceable supply chains.
  • Manage regional budget, PPV performance, working capital, and cost-savings initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing regional purchasing team.
  • Develop metrics for gauging vendor performance and conducts reviews on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintains a network of professional contacts in order to discover new opportunities for better pricing, quality and terms.
  • Play a led role in the S&OP process from the supply standpoint.
  • Comply with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Lead and/or support cross functional teams that impact Griffith’s Strategic Positioning.
  • Work closely with several internal stakeholders to assure an optimized cost of use for all raw materials.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers on raw material topics, issues, and variances to the Operating Plan.
  • Drive process solutions and have strong project management skills.
  • Apply legal and ethical behavior to negotiations and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance of suppliers to Griffith's quality, regulatory, and legal documentation expectations.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business or related field.
  • 10+ years in strategic purchasing; experience in spices/herbs sourcing, farming programs, sustainability, negotiation, and global supplier management.
  • Strong MRP/ERP knowledge and analytical skills.
