Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Product Management to lead the evolution of our Ngage CPaaS platform into a next-gen, AI-first customer engagement suite. This role will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution across Messaging, Voice, OTT channels (WhatsApp, RBM, etc.), and emerging conversational AI capabilities.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience from leading CPaaS players and has a strong track record of scaling platforms, driving innovation, and building high-performing product teams.
Key Responsibilities - Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Ngage CPaaS
- Identify growth opportunities across channels (SMS, WhatsApp, Voice, RBM, Email, Video)
- Prioritize features based on market demand, revenue impact, and competitive positioning
- Align roadmap with enterprise customer needs across key verticals (BFSI, Retail, Logistics)
- AI & Platform Innovation
- Lead AI infusion across the platform:
- Conversational AI (LLM-powered chatbots, copilots)
- Intelligent routing & optimization
- Personalization and campaign automation
- Drive integration of GenAI into developer and customer workflows
- Build differentiated capabilities vs competitors (e.g., Twilio, Sinch, Infobip)
- Product Execution & Deliver
- Work closely with engineering to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platform capabilities
- Define product requirements (PRDs), success metrics, and GTM readiness
- Ensure high availability, performance, and compliance (SLA, NFRs, security)
- Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing product team (PMs, APMs)
- Mentor team on product thinking, execution rigor, and customer obsession
- Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and innovation
- Customer & Ecosystem Engagement
- Engage with key enterprise customers and partners (telcos, aggregators, OTT platforms)
- Gather insights to improve product stickiness and reduce churn
- Drive partnerships across messaging ecosystems (WABA, RBM, etc.)
- Business Impact
- Own product KPIs: adoption, revenue growth, margins, and customer retention
- Support sales and GTM teams with positioning, pricing, and solutioning
- Influence monetization strategies (usage-based, SaaS, bundles)
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years in product management, with strong experience in CPaaS / Communications / SaaS platforms
- Proven experience working with or at companies like Twilio, Sinch, Infobip, or similar ecosystems
- Deep understanding of messaging channels (SMS, WhatsApp, RBM, Voice APIs)
- Experience in building platform products and APIs at scale
- Strong exposure to AI/ML or GenAI-led product innovations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scaling CPaaS for enterprise (beyond telco-led models)
- Familiarity with global messaging regulations and telco interconnects
- Background in developer platforms, APIs, and SDK ecosystems
- MBA or equivalent business/technical leadership experience
