Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad for a Director of Sustainability. The Director of Sustainability will be responsible for leading and implementing the organization’s sustainability strategy. Key responsibilities include the development and oversight of corporate sustainability initiatives, preparing comprehensive sustainability reports, and executing projects focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR). Additionally, the individual will work towards measuring carbon footprints, developing reduction strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations while fostering a culture of environmental stewardship.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Corporate Sustainability, including designing and implementing long-term sustainability strategies and policies.
- Experience in Sustainability Reporting and Corporate Social Responsibility to ensure transparency and accountability in sustainability efforts.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting, reduction plans, and climate change mitigation strategies.
- Background in Environmental Science, including a strong understanding of ecological systems and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to address sustainability challenges.
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with local and global sustainability trends and environmental regulations is an advantage.
