We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Director of QA who is analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong leader with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated, and technically strong QA leader who will be responsible for strengthening the QA function, driving quality initiatives, and implementing QA best practices across the organization.
Job Role
- Direct the development of QA strategy, methodology, processes, discipline, and framework across the organization.
- Drive and improve the QA team in areas of Agile testing, process optimization, and delivery excellence.
- Monitor QA activities, test execution, defect leakage, root cause analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and release efficiency.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of QA team members.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Web Development, and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize quality initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Ensure effective utilization of testing tools and frameworks for functional, automation, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
- Manage QA resources for end-to-end testing across multiple products and releases.
- Establish and enforce QA standards, metrics, reporting, and best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives and continuous quality improvement in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Work closely with leadership teams in India and the USA to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of overall QA experience with at least 3+ years in a QA Lead/Managerial role.
- Educational background in technology such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, MSc IT, B.Tech, or M.Tech.
- Must have experience working in a SaaS product company.
- Experience in EHR/EMR or Healthcare domain will be highly preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with experience managing and scaling a QA team of at least 10-15 members.
- Ability to build, implement, and drive quality assurance processes and delivery standards.
- Strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing within Agile/Continuous Delivery environments.
- Good understanding of functional, non-functional, API, regression, performance, and automation testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with QA tools, test management systems, and automation frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Ability to take ownership, drive accountability, and lead quality initiatives independently.
