Role Description
The Director of Sales for Weddings and Events is responsible for leading the sales efforts to grow the weddings and events segment of Ananta Hotels and Resorts. This full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur will manage client relationships, develop sales strategies, and identify opportunities to meet revenue objectives. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales initiatives, liaising with event planners, coordinating with internal departments to ensure flawless events, and maintaining an excellent customer experience. The role requires monitoring market trends, recommending marketing initiatives, and fostering partnerships to expand the resort's footprint in the market.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development: Proven ability in sales, negotiation, and generating revenue in the luxury hospitality industry. Experience in weddings and events sales is a plus.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Strong knowledge of wedding and event management, with the ability to collaborate effectively with event planners and coordinate logistics with internal teams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Exceptional client relationship-building and communication skills to maintain and grow long-term partnerships.
- Marketing and Strategic Skills: Experience in analyzing market trends, implementing sales strategies, and developing marketing initiatives to attract new business opportunities.
- Organizational and Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with a detail-oriented approach to oversee multiple events and teams simultaneously.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field. Previous experience in luxury hotels or event sales is an advantage.
- Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, to meet client needs and oversee events.
