Role Description The Director of Photography and Video Editor will manage end-to-end visual production for Astroinvite’s astrology content, ensuring high-quality video output aligned with the channel’s brand and messaging. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves planning and executing shoots, operating cameras, setting up lighting, and overseeing cinematography for studio and location-based videos. The role includes collaborating with astrologers and content creators to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives, managing production schedules, and maintaining equipment. The Director of Photography and Video Editor will also handle post-production tasks such as editing, color correction, sound syncing, and preparing final deliverables optimized for digital platforms. This position requires close coordination with the creative team to continually improve visual style and viewer engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong camera operation skills, including expertise with professional Camera equipment and practical Video Production experience.
- Proficiency in Lighting techniques and Cinematography to create visually consistent and engaging content.
- Advanced video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with color grading and audio mixing.
- Experience in studio and location shooting, including set design basics and shot planning for digital content channels.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with content creators, and translate astrology concepts into clear visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in YouTube or social media video production is highly desirable; an interest in or basic understanding of astrology is a plus.
