Role Description The Director of Operational Excellence is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for driving continuous improvement across business processes and operations. This role will lead the design and implementation of operational excellence frameworks, set performance metrics, and monitor key indicators to optimize efficiency and service quality. The director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, develop improvement plans, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. Day-to-day activities include analyzing operational data, leading improvement projects, facilitating workshops, and coaching teams on best practices and standards. The role also involves partnering with senior leadership to support strategic planning, change management initiatives, and scalable operational models that enhance client satisfaction and organizational performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Process Improvement and Process Improvement skills to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Candidates should possess deep expertise in Operational Excellence to design, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Strategic Planning capabilities to align operational initiatives with long-term organizational goals.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional operational excellence or continuous improvement programs, preferably in services or high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage change, and drive adoption of new processes and tools.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across levels and functions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
