Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division for a Director of Information Technology. The individual will be responsible for shaping and implementing the institution's IT strategy, overseeing IT operations, ensuring robust network security, and managing overall IT infrastructure. Duties include leading the IT team, evaluating emerging technologies, maintaining system performance, ensuring security compliance, and managing IT budgets. The role contributes to strengthening IT frameworks, enhancing digital learning platforms, and ensuring secure and efficient technological operations across the institute's campuses.
Qualifications
- Expertise in IT Management, IT Strategy, and overall technology planning
- Experience in managing IT Operations and optimizing system performance
- Proficiency in Network Security, cybersecurity protocols, and best practices
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with educational technology systems, digital platforms, and current IT trends
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s or equivalent is preferred
- Proven experience in overseeing large-scale IT implementations in educational or institutional settings is an advantage
