Role Description
The Director of Finance will oversee and manage the financial operations and strategies of The Westin Goa. This is a full-time, on-site role located in North Goa. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, monitoring cash flow, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising accounting processes, and implementing financial controls. Collaborating with the leadership team, the Director of Finance will play a critical role in decision-making to support the hotel's financial health and growth.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Report Preparation, and Cost Management
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Compliance, and Auditing Practices
- Leadership and Team Management skills
- Proficiency with Financial Systems and Advanced Proficiency in Excel
- Strategic Thinking and Analytical Problem-Solving Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualifications are highly desirable
- Experience of working in the hospitality industry, especially in luxury or upscale properties, is preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
