Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Engineering located in Hyderabad. The Director of Engineering will oversee and manage engineering projects, lead and inspire engineering teams, and ensure high-quality delivery of solutions. Responsibilities will include strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and technical oversight. The role requires a deep understanding of software engineering processes, the ability to drive innovation, and a focus on meeting business objectives.

Role summary

·      Build and lead the Hyderabad engineering organization and execute the platform transformation.

·      Own delivery across teams while consolidating CR and CFT into a unified platform.

·      Own Scheduling and estimations as well execution and deliverables of all deliverables

·      Part of the technical leadership team and Architect Team

What you’ll do

·      Build and lead Hyderabad org: hiring, coaching, performance.

·      Run delivery for multiple scrum teams (roadmaps, milestones, execution).

·      Drive and implement engineering excellence: CI/CD, quality gates, observability, security.

·      Participate in Architecture leadership meetings and drive the technical vision across the Hyderabad engineering team

·      Establish AI-first culture and execution pipeline.

Requirements

·      12+ years engineering experience with 5+ years leading teams.

·      Experience leading modernization programs with legacy + new build.

·      Strong understanding of Java[GU1]  ecosystems and cloud-native architecture.

·      Strong understanding of enterprise web applications, Java ecosystems and cloud-native architecture

·      Strong understanding of GCP ecosystems.

·      Understanding of .NET

·      Experience working as product architect in enterprise architect team[GU2] 

·      Experience working as a lead engineer and working with other lead engineers

·      Proven ability to recruit and build high-performance teams in India.

·      Strong communication with US leadership and cross-functional partners.
