We are hiring multiple Directors of Business Development, Data Centers (APAC) to build and execute a regional growth strategy for a global manufacturer of mission-critical data center cooling spanning CDUs, Fan Walls, CRAC/CRAH units, and Air Handling Units (AHUs).
The business delivers end-to-end air and liquid cooling solutions, from design and engineering through project execution and aftersales support. With strong global momentum and increased investment in APAC, you will represent a brand known for technical depth, reliable delivery, and performance that keeps customers returning.
Reporting to the Vice President, Data Centers APAC, you will be a high-impact hunter responsible for landing and expanding Tier-1 accounts and converting strategic pursuits into long-term partnerships with leading data center operators. You will own the full commercial cycle for assigned accounts from first outreach and account strategy through negotiation, contract close, and order intake.
Some Key Responsibilities include:
- Proactively identify and penetrate new business opportunities across hyperscale and colocation data center operators throughout APAC.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing long-term, complex sales cycles to exceed annual order intake and revenue targets.
- Partner with Global Account teams across Europe, the US, India, Southeast Asia, and ANZ to ensure a unified approach to multinational clients.
- Lead regular business reviews (QBRs) with key accounts, providing data-driven insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Expert-level capability in contract management, pricing strategy, and closing multimillion-dollar deals.
- Minimum 5+ years’ direct experience in the data center industry (cooling, power, or infrastructure).
- An existing, active network of key decision-makers and influencers across major APAC data center operators and developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles and shifting priorities in a high-growth environment.
