Role Overview
The IT Director – Delivery Management will lead global IT delivery and program execution for Watlow, with accountability for enterprise platform delivery, AMS partner governance, and building a scalable offshore delivery competency in India. This role will establish India as a high-performing global delivery hub, ensuring predictable execution, strong governance, and measurable business outcomes. The leader will own offshore capability buildout, drive large-scale global programs, and work closely with global IT Directors and cross-regional teams to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. A strong understanding of ERP support environments and AMS operating models is essential; experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
Key Responsibilities - Global Delivery & Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery and large, cross-functional IT programs across enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment to business priorities, clear milestones, and successful outcomes
- Program Governance & Execution: Establish and enforce program governance structures, including planning, dependency management, risk/issue tracking, financial tracking, and executive reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives
- ERP & AMS Governance: Oversee ERP platform delivery, enhancements, and releases; manage AMS partners with full accountability for SLAs, KPIs, and ITIL-based service management (incident, problem, change)
- Delivery Governance, Metrics & Reporting: Define and enforce KPIs (delivery predictability, MTTR, SLA adherence, defect reduction, cost efficiency); build executive dashboards and ensure consistent reporting across programs and services
- Global Stakeholder & Program Alignment: Partner with business leaders and IT Directors across regions to align on program priorities, sequencing, and execution roadmaps
- Vendor & Partner Management: Lead system integrators and AMS providers, ensuring delivery alignment to program objectives, performance SLAs, and cost optimization within a hybrid model
- Technology & Operational Excellence: Drive automation, AI-assisted delivery, and cloud-first approaches to improve scalability, standardization, and delivery efficiency
- Financial & Value Management: Own program budgets, forecasting, and cost control; track value realization, benefits delivery, and ROI across programs
- Offshore Competency Leadership (India Hub): Build and scale a global delivery center with competencies in:
- Application Development & Support
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Data Engineering & Analytics
- Industrial IoT / Smart Manufacturing
- Establish standardized delivery models, reusable assets, and leadership pipeline
Qualifications, Experience & Core Capabilities
- 15+ years in IT delivery, including 5+ years in leadership roles within global, matrixed environments
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional IT programs and portfolios in global organizations
- Strong expertise in program governance, portfolio management, and structured delivery frameworks
- Proven experience in developing and managing offshore delivery centers for global organizations
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale offshore competency centers and delivery teams
- Strong expertise in AMS/service models (ITIL-based) and vendor governance
- Experience managing system integrators and AMS partners with SLA/KPI accountability
- Broad technical understanding of ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion preferred), cloud (Azure/AWS), integration, and data ecosystems
- Strong business acumen across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing domains
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with global IT Directors and senior stakeholders across regions
- Ability to operate effectively in a global delivery model with required overlap with US working hours
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in a relevant field; MBA preferred
- PMP certification preferred
