About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Director – Data Science (Pre-Sales) to lead strategic client engagements, AI solutioning, and pre-sales initiatives across global markets. This is a high-impact leadership role that works closely with the founders and plays a critical part in driving business growth through advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end pre-sales and solutioning for data science, ML, and GenAI opportunities across industries
- Engage with global clients to understand business challenges and translate them into AI/ML-driven solutions
- Design and propose advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI architectures on cloud
- Partner with sales and leadership teams to drive deal closures and revenue growth
- Build strong relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders
- Provide strategic advisory on AI adoption, data science strategy, and GenAI transformation
- Support account mining, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution
Mentor and guide internal data science and solutioning teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
12–18+ years of experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics, with strong exposure to pre-sales or solutioning roles
Proven experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI use cases
Strong background in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and AI solution design
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Proven ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and drive consultative discussions
Experience in building proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution decks
Strong business acumen with ability to link data science solutions to business impact
Demonstrated career progression into leadership roles
