Job Purpose
- Execute India Wholesale Banking Strategy
- Provide solutions for complexities that clients face. Conceptualize and execute strategic and structured transactions with Wholesale Banking clients to enhance revenues and returns – financing in the form of LAF, Holdco, Asset Financing, Supply Chain, Structured Trade Finance to enhance revenues and returns.
- Enhance flow Banking & cross sell products (Gtx, GM, GCF) both for domestic local India balance sheet.
- Grow India outbound and ensure clients are followed to various geographies where FAB has presence on the ground
- Ensure Risk / Return framework is met as may be defined from time to time.
Strict adherence to KYC and all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting Revenue and Returns targets as may be set by line manager.
- Interact with Senior Client Management to structure solutions for complex needs. Maintain and develop relationships with key decision makers in client portfolio.
- Work extensively with product partners to ensure cross sell and solutions delivery to clients.
- Ensure client timelines are met and work internally to ensure that decisions are taken in a timely manner
- High quality credit applications covering all aspects for a smooth credit decision.
- Maintain up-to-date credit, mandate and industry sector files.
- Ensure post disbursal monitoring and follow up. Maintain credit quality of the entire portfolio and apprise credit / risk/ senior management about any deterioration of credit parameters of any client portfolio.
- Appraise, analyze, scrutinize and comment on all information received from client including but not limited to financial statements, management accounts, feasibility reports market research report, valuation report, business report, financial/legal/technical due diligence report etc.
- Negotiate and close financing documents in coordination with internal and external lawyers and operational desk
- Preparation of budget and other reports for senior management.
- Attend internal/external client meetings, conference calls and preparing associated meeting/call reports.
- Fully understand the Bank’s Wholesale Banking products and associated processes.
- Adhere to process KPIs, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit Requirements.
- Responsible for meeting all KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements as per RBI regulations as well as FAB internal guidelines for all clients managed.
- Ensure Housekeeping in terms of pipeline management, overdue credit applications, no overdue deferrals etc.
- Preparing, maintaining & implementing a list of prospective accounts to be systematically targeted, onboarded along with cross sell.
Qualification & Experience
- Finance / Business related Master’s degree or professional qualification in accounting.
Approx 8 -12 years of experience in Covering similar market segment
