Role Overview
This BD role will be responsible for driving global CPaaS-CeP business growth, engaging with telecom operators (OpCos), and supporting solution positioning through technical and commercial understanding. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities with global OpCos and leading the
technical discovery process to ensure our CPaaS-CeP offerings align with their goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the CPaaS-CeP space.
- Lead end-to-end business development and pre-sales activities, including prospecting, client engagement, proposal development, and deal follow ups and closure.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, serving as a key link to the sales function to drive pre-sales activities, including solution design, product demonstrations, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom operators / enterprise clients.
- Drive solution selling by aligning customer needs with product capabilities and value propositions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Represent the company in industry events, client meetings, and strategic discussions.
Required Skills And Competencies
- Proven experience in Business Development and/or Pre-Sales roles within the CPaaS domain.
- Strong track record of selling complex software or platform solutions to leading OpCos globally.
- Strong understanding of SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, RCS and other communication channels.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to both technical and non- technical stakeholders. Exceptional ability to translate "tech-speak" into business value for C-level executives.
- Proven experience managing sales cycles and developing compelling business cases.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
