Role Overview:
We are looking for a Director - Business Development and Growth who will work closely with the CEO to drive revenue, acquire new clients, and build long-term business for the company. This role is ideal for someone with strong B2B sales instincts, experience in selling AI-based / tech-enabled solutions, and a commission-led mindset. This is not a traditional job role, it’s a performance-driven partnership where the individual owns sales outcomes and earns through high-impact commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue & Business Growth
- Work directly with the CEO to generate new business opportunities
- Identify, approach, and close new clients and partnerships
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles — lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure
- Convert AI-based offerings into clear business value propositions for clients
2. AI & Solution Selling
- Sell AI-driven products/services (AI marketing, automation, AI-led creative or tech solutions)
- Understand client pain points and map them to AI-enabled solutions
- Confidently explain AI capabilities in simple, outcome-focused language
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers (Founders, CEOs, CMOs, Business Heads)
- Ensure smooth handover post-closure and support long-term account growth
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
4. Strategic Collaboration
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO on sales strategy and market opportunities
- Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback
- Help shape pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies
Desired Skills & Experience:
· Proven experience in B2B sales / business development
· Prior exposure to AI products, SaaS, tech services, or AI-enabled solutions
· Strong core selling skills (cold outreach, pitching, closing)
· Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in ambiguity
· Self-driven and outcome-oriented
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Existing network is a plus but not mandatory
