The Director for the Avaap Center of Excellence (ACE) provides senior local leadership for our India-based delivery center as it scales. This person works closely with US practice leadership to execute the growth plan, manage the India management layer, and ensure the team operates effectively across time zones.

Responsibilities
- Delivery center operations: Oversee the operational performance of the India delivery center including utilization, margin contribution, and cost management in coordination with US leadership.
- Hiring and talent strategy: Lead India recruiting efforts, make hiring recommendations, and manage the local talent pipeline to reduce dependency on US-based hiring decisions.
- Management oversight: All India managers (integration and functional) report to the Director/VP. The Director/VP ensures span of control, team structure, and management quality are maintained as the team grows.
- Retention and culture: Help drive the people programs, compensation strategy, career development, and team culture initiatives for the India team.
- Client relationships: Serve as a senior India-based point of contact for escalations and participate in client conversations alongside onshore leadership as needed.
- Strategic planning: Support execution and iteration of the expansion plan based on local market conditions, talent availability, and demand signals. Report into the US-based Leader of Integrations Practice.

Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience.
At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range. During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and if the level differs from the position applied for, a revised compensation range will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be willing to work
1 PM – 10 PM IST
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
