Job Summary/ Job Opportunity:
The Director of Client Infrastructure Delivery Projects will lead and oversee the delivery of infrastructure projects to clients. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the technology field, with strong expertise in Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud systems, including Windows Servers, cluster management, Microsoft 365, Azure, and a thorough understanding of network and firewall configurations. This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, strong proficiency in Excel, and superior written and verbal communication abilities.
The role requires strong ownership of end-to-end service delivery, including SLA/KPI adherence, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement. The candidate will work closely with global (primarily US-based) stakeholders and must demonstrate flexibility to support overlapping US time zones. This position demands a balance of technical depth, delivery leadership, and strategic thinking to drive infrastructure modernization and operational excellence.
Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:
· Project Leadership and Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead and govern large-scale infrastructure programs and managed services delivery.
- Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure services, including governance, risk management, resource optimization, and SLA/KPI adherence.
· Strategic & Transformation leadership
- Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives including cloud migration, modernization, and automation.
- Define and drive multi-cloud strategy (Azure, AWS, GCP) with focus on scalability, governance, and optimization.
- Promote DevOps adoption, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Drive continuous service improvement to enhance efficiency and reliability.
· Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud systems, including Windows Servers, clustering, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Ensure the infrastructure is designed and implemented according to best practices and security standards.
- Provide architectural oversight across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Ensure infrastructure is designed for high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Guide teams on best practices in infrastructure, security, and platform engineering.
· Service Reliability, DR and BCP
- Define and govern Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies.
- Ensure high availability and reliability through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement of metrics such as MTTR and system resilience.
· Stakeholder Management:
- Act as primary client interface and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Engage with senior customer leadership for governance and strategic alignment.
- Provide executive-level reporting on delivery performance, risks, and improvements.
- Act as a trusted advisor on infrastructure strategy and transformation.
· Reporting, Monitoring, and Excel Proficiency:
- Develop executive dashboards and data-driven insights for performance tracking and decision-making.
- Monitor infrastructure performance to ensure availability and reliability.
· Team Management:
- Lead and manage managers, project leads, and technical teams across delivery streams.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Drive capability development and succession planning.

Qualification and Experience
· Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in technology infrastructure, with a strong background in
- Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud systems.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a client-facing role.
- Experience working with global customers, preferably in US geography, with exposure to offshore delivery models.
· Technical Skills:
- Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) with focus on migration, governance, and optimization.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and infrastructure management tools.
· Education & Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or project/program management are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA in IT or a related field preferred.
- ITIL and PMP certifications are preferred.
