Role Description The Director role in Treasury and Trade Services is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This role involves leading a high-performing team responsible for delivering treasury and trade solutions, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring strong risk and control frameworks. The Director will manage key client relationships, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and drive projects that enhance process efficiency, product performance, and service quality. Responsibilities include setting strategic priorities, monitoring financial and operational metrics, guiding regulatory and compliance adherence, and mentoring team members to build capabilities and succession pipelines. The role requires close collaboration with global stakeholders, participation in governance forums, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve client experience and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience guiding diverse teams, developing talent, and driving accountability.
- Expertise in treasury, cash management, trade finance, or related corporate banking domains, with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations and projects, prioritize multiple workstreams, and deliver results within established timelines and controls.
- Deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in financial services, with a focus on governance and control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and metrics to inform decisions and measure performance.
- Prior experience in a director-level or senior management role within banking or financial services; experience in Treasury and Trade Services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, FRM) is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving global business environment.
