Accounting & Reporting Consulting
Our Accounting & Reporting Consulting (ARC) practice is designed to partner with the finance function as an extension of your team. Our global talent pool has deep functional and technology
expertise for the finance function. We provide the technical know-how, skills, technology, and bandwidth that allow you to maneuver the challenges in real-time without adding additional
manpower costs within the organization. We bring in a rich understanding of multi-geographical accounting frameworks such as U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Ind AS and other country-specific regulations.

Job Title: Director - Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)
Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai
Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As a director, you will work with clients to provide high- quality accounting advisory services set out above. You will be responsible to maintain client relationships with senior stakeholders, work with Partner & Directors as well as mentor the team members apart from providing support on our business development and practice management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Review the development requirements and execution of the product roadmap for financial
reporting tool, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
2. Work closely with the technology and cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product
requirements, considering factors such as client feedback, benchmarking/market research, and
technical feasibility.
3. Support the planning and execution of product launches and go-to-market strategies, coordinating with marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to drive successful product adoption.
4. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the financial reporting technology landscape.
5. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to define product specifications, provide
input on user experience design, UI and oversee the development process including involvement
in preparation of Business Requirement Document and System Design Document.
6. Monitor product performance and KPIs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and
optimization.
7. Review the development of product documentation, including user guides, pitch packs and
training materials.
8. Act as a subject matter expert on technology products, providing guidance and support to internal teams, clients, and partners.
9. Conduct product demos and training sessions for clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our technology products and providing guidance on best practices for implementation and usage.
10. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, gathering feedback and requirements to
inform product enhancements and customization opportunities.
11. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to support client engagements, including product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops.
12. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to reporting and technology products.
13. Support the leaders in mentoring and developing junior members of the product management
team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Qualification:
· Education: Chartered Accountant
· Experience: 12+ years of experience in the Accounting and Advisory domain.
Preferred Skills:
We’re looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing accounting and reporting consulting to clients which includes support on technical and special matters including
GAAP Conversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation (end to end), and Disclosure support for IFRS/USGAAP/Ind AS. The incumbent will work for top global clients across a wide variety of markets and industry sectors.
· Strong domain, project management, business development and people skills.
· Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
· Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
· Possess strong domain knowledge.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
